Guest Speakers are invited to have dinner on us. ASQ (American Society for Quality) is the leading quality improvement organization in the United States, with about 100,000 members worldwide. A not-for-profit professional association headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, ASQ carries out a variety of professional, educational, and informational programs. ASQ's vision is to be the world's recognized champion and leading authority on all issues related to quality. ASQ (American Society for Quality) was founded in 1946 with the merger of several local quality societies. These groups were formed to share information about statistical quality control after classes on that subject were held during World War II to improve and maintain the quality of defense materials.

Most of the quality methods now used throughout the world--including statistical process control, quality costs, total quality management, failure analysis, ISO Registration and Six Sigma--were initiated by ASQ members."
