RE:  Resume Cover Letter

I am a very passionate, charismatic and driven individual looking for an opportunity to use my 15 years of experience as a quality professional in the manufacturing industry.  I am skilled at facilitating and managing teams inside and outside of an organization.  I am looking to apply my process improvement skills and implement creative solutions to improve profitability and efficiencies while assuring customer satisfaction and superior quality.

My work experience in different organizations has helped me become a well rounded quality professional.  Experience with fluid product and dry product handling in manufacturing facilities, as an example, has given me additional mechanical aptitudes, which aid in problem solving opportunities.  Experience with a union workforce has taught me no one individual is smarter or more important to the core business than another.  The experience of implementing ISO 9002 at a facility with 300+ employees has taught me no task is insurmountable with the right leadership and commitment.  I believe authority doesn’t come from a job title, but from earned respect.  Lastly, there’s no greater reward than helping someone to improve their work environment or receiving feedback from a customer of a job well done.

I have confidence in my abilities to perform the job at hand.  I look forward to discussing any opportunities available in the Dallas, Texas area.

Sincerely,

Sharon Garrett
