· Facilitated access to updated information on all materials on order, in stock, and as work in progress by implementing and administering a network manufacturing resource planning (MRP) software application to organize and track a company’s sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and inventory; established a part numbering system for all raw materials.
· Created controls plans and processes from failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) for an automotive program; perform production part approval process (PPAP) programs to meet automotive industry action group (AIAG) standards.
· Established and oversaw department budgets as well as product costing and pricing guidelines for both commercial and high reliability products, utilized in government defense programs, commercial aviation, and medical applications.
· Uncovered $1 million in incorrect allocations by reviewing and assessing labor and assigned overhead costs of a product line.
