ASQ Greater Fort Worth
Due to COVID, the Section will not be collecting Toys for Tots donations in person at the PD Meeting.
We have worked with the US Marine Reserves to establish an on-line donation system.
With more local families affected by reduced income,
this year’s toy collection and distribution is more important than ever.
Please consider donating generously!
It’s a 5-minute task that can support so many.

Donation window closes 12/23/20

MISSION: To serve the needs of our membership and the community by providing a local forum for information exchange, professional support, and continuous learning
Greetings my fellow ASQ Section members! I am excited to serve as the 2020 Section Chair for our wonderful ASQ group. I understand the tremendous history of excellence that Section 1416 has in being a leader across ASQ as a whole and I will be challenged to continue that excellence. I am grateful for the continuity and continuing presence of those who have been our Section Chair in years past in providing support and guidance.
I want to provide you with some brief context about my career as a Quality professional. I worked for Procter and Gamble for over 34 years and held several Quality leadership roles across multiple product categories and regulatory classifications. I understand the opportunities and challenges that people in quality professional roles face. Although I have only been an ASQ member for about five (5) years, I have come to embrace and feel commitment to doing my part to help build individuals to be outstanding quality professionals. That’s why the Section 1416 Mission statement is very congruent with my values – “To serve the needs of our membership and the community by providing a local forum for information exchange, professional support, and continuous learning.”
The 2020 Section Leadership Committee has built a Business Plan that is intended to continue to the trend of excellence and to meet that challenges that face our Section. This plan is dynamic and fluid and can be modified throughout the year as we learn what is working and what is not in delivering the goals and meeting the Section 1416 Mission. I look forward to your continuing engagement!
